SFNBA: Empowered Director prize, for Ghafar Faizyar director of the"Unknown" short film in 4th World Poetry Canada International Peace Festival.
The Unknown short film is about a woman reporter whose entire state of being is distressed because
of the uncertainty of 2014 when foreign military forces are scheduled
to leave Afghanistan. Fearing for her small family's lives - two
children and a handicapped husband - she searches for ways to create a
safety nest for them before everything, in her imagination, turns into
chaos.
This film has been official selection in 29th Clermont-Ferrand Market International Short Film festival and some film festivals in USA, Canada, Afghanistan, India in past.
The 4th edition of the World Poetry Canada International Peace Festival held on 6 to 26 Oct, 2014 in Vancouver.
